Norex is the name of Nora and Alex's sibling relationship. Nora bosses Alex around, but it was mentioned that Nora cares about him a lot. Alex does not know how much she cares. Alex gets easily annoyed by Nora doing things according to the "rules." They rely on each other a lot in the search for their missing parents, Judy and Calvin.
